Jimmy Lin Chih Ying's Restaurant 林志颖的餐厅-Dream Family Cafe梦飨家

One day while I was surfing the Net, I suddenly saw a TV show introducing this DREAM FAMILY CAFE and to my surprise, actually my favourite idol, Jimmy owns it. Therefore, during my trip to Taiwan, I took the chance to DREAM FAMILY CAFE 梦飨家.


The owner of this restaurant, Jimmy Lin Chih Ying 林志颖, my favourite Taiwanese actor and singer.He's not only handsome and talented, he's also a car racer too. (That's why I'm his super fan!)At the end of year 2006, he had put in a lot of effort and time to open this special restaurant.

(A little poem about the restaurant, I got it from the menu. I think this is great to share it with all of you! )

This DREAM FAMILY CAFE is very unique. Have a look at those pictures that I took and you will know why. This restaurant is located in Living Mall 京华城 (12th floor) in Taipei, Taiwan. The full address of this restaurant is 台北市八德路四段138号12楼. It's open daily from 11am to 11pm daily. You can give them a call for advance bookings:02-3762-2319. The place is huge and it can "fit in"40-120 persons and it's really a great idea to have parties there. They will surely welcome you.

The menu is totally amazing,they have various types of delicious appetizers开怀, salads拈花惹草, burgers心情汉堡, savoury crêpes乡村风情法式薄饼, baked rice爱心炬饭, stews多国梦幻家庭料理, pastas意大利庭园 and dessert crêpes梦幻甜蜜法式薄饼. If I work in this restaurant,I will surely put on weight as all those food makes me hungry.

Their specialties are "Apple Cheese Burger苹果起司汉堡" , "Seafood Stew意式番茄海鲜" , "Spicy Chicken Leg Linguine辣栲脆皮鸡腿面" and "Baked Seafood Rice奶油海鲜炬饭" (that's what I ordered, please refer to the picture below).

This cheesy baked seafood rice is totally too great for me. Cheese with seafood and rice is healthy and the most important of all it's absolutely mouth-watering. I think this cost me $280(approximately RM 28)and I think it's worth it. Too bad I didn't have a chance to try every dish, but I will surely try something different next time (I will go back 100%) .

As for the decor and the atmosphere,it's too perfect to say anything else. Music will always be on and there are dim lights to create a romantic atmosphere. It's really a good place to hang around with friends. This place is also a good choice for the love birds to have their romantic meal together. Besides,the tables and chairs are specially designed and even the main door is very unique too. Check this out...!

I will definately go back to this DREAM FAMILY CAFE once again during my next visit to Taiwan.
