Tai Luk Mee大碌面/Hokkien Mee福建面 @ Petaling Street茨厂街, KL

It has been years since my last visit to the Petaling Street (pronounced as Chi Cheong Kai in Cantonese). I remembered that I always visit the Petaling Street whenever I traveled to KL. However, I am now very afraid of the traffic jam in KL, so I usually stay in the Damansara and USJ area.

Since I had a free night with my friend, we decided to try out the famous Tai Luk Mee at Petaling Street that I missed the most.

Tai Luk Mee, is mostly known as Hokkien Mee in KL. It is fried with crispy pork lards which make it even more yummy. How can I control myself for not ordering a big plate of Tai Luk Mee?!

There's one very famous Tai Luk Mee stall located at Petaling Street, just opposite to the Hong Leong Bank. No trouble finding it! It is called " Kim Kian Kee 金连记" one junction of the Petaling Street.

During the peak hours, there will be lots of people. If you want to get one plate of Tai Luk Mee in the shortest waiting period, be there earlier.

Smells good and tastes superb! Can't help from being hungry.

Char Bi Hun 炒米粉

Sambal
Penangites are always a fan of SAMBAL. It will not be a pleasant meal if the sambal is absent.

That tai luk mee looks good. There is also one in Penang that is tasty and comes with pieces of bak yue near the old Federal. Give it a try.
