Penang Asam Laksa
This is our famous Laksa in Penang. I personally feel this one is better than the one near Kek Lok Si Temple. (Not trying to be offensive, personal opinion only!)

You can find big pieces of fish meat in the laksa soup. With some chilli padi, the soup is so yummy. I love to add more vege into my Laksa. They also serve Spring Rolls. What we do is to dip the spring rolls into the Laksa soup. It's so yummy that we cannot stop taking.

This stall was last time in front of the Shell station at Farlim but now they have moved to this shop which you can take not only Laksa but also some desserts like " Ching Po Lueng" which is mixed with jelly, red beans, canned logan or rambutan, in syrup. Local people love Laksa but for foreigners, they normally cannot withstand the prawn paste. My Taiwanese friends love to take laksa without prawn paste. Well, if you have any chance to visit Penang, no matter you are from Malaysia or overseas, should give it a try. At least this is something very typical Penang hawker food.
