Indian Noodles & Wanton Mee at Lorong Bangkok (Bangkok Lane)

Lorong Bangkok is famous for its mouth-watering Indian Noodles. Indian noodles is a popular hawker food in Penang. At Pulau Tikus, Penang, there is a lane which is still full of old houses but in nice design and in good condition, that is Lorong Bangkok or Bangkok Lane.
The cook is frying my Indian noodles. I am waiting impatiently~~~
Yummy Indian Noodles
Remember to squeeze the lime onto your noodles. It will be more delicious.
Most of the people know this lane because of the well-known Indian Mee Goreng. This business has been passed to their second generation. You will be surprised that the 'cook' can understand and speak hokkien. I like to order a plate of Mee Goreng which is more spicy.
You can add cuttle fish to your Mee Goreng too. I am a big fan of Mee Goreng, if you know any other good Mee Goreng, please do leave me a comment.

Beside the coffee shop, there is a stall which sells Wanton Mee. Although it is not as well-known as the one at Argyll Road but this one is equally tasty. I love the noodle. Normally the Wanton Mee is taken with the pickled chilli. It's not hot, but the taste is good.
My favourite too - Wanton Mee
If the " wanton" is as good as the one in Canton-I, then it would be perfect. But of course we know it would not be sold at RM2.50 per plate anymore :)

Pickled chilli

I think these houses have been playing an important role to make Penang as a Unesco World Heritage. The good thing is that all the elegant houses in this lane have been well-kept in tip top condition.
