Seafood Bee Hoon 海鲜米粉

This is a place that I used to pass thru very often but did not notice that there is a seafood bee hoon stall. Always thought that this is a very common coffee shop selling some hokkien mee, laksa, etc. Till one day, my neighbour told me about it and said that this one is as good as the one at Sungai Tiram. And the satay sold by an Indonesian is very nice too.

Last 2 weeks, my mom was craving for seafood bee hoon. So instead of going to the one at Sungai Tiram, Bayan Lepas, we decided to go to this one at Relau. Unfortunately, the satay stall was closed as this Indonesian has gone back to her hometown, so we did not have a chance to try the satay this time. But, the seafood bee hoon stall was on business.

Look at the varieties that you could choose. Fish, fish meat, fish balls, fish cakes, meat balls, squids, prawns, flower crab and also the intestine. You may also choose to have clear soup or tom yam. Seafood porridge is also available. We ordered 2 bowls of clear soup bee hoon, one bowl of clear soup instant noodle and one bowl of tom yam instant noodle.

The clear soup bee hoon was good but I love the one in tom yam more. Well, just because I grow up in Penang, so I love spicy food. The tom yam soup was just nice, not too sour! You should give it a try when you go there. Must go earlier as it will be full of people around 7.30pm.
Other than the seafood bee hoon stall, you can also have Bah Kut Teh and Chu Char ( dishes with rice ) there. The owner of the coffee shop was very friendly and the service was excellent.

Location: At the traffic light from Sungai Ara to Relau, beside a temple (closed on Tuesday)

Judging frm the ingredients used, I am sure this seafood bee hoon must be very delicious. Unfortunately I seldom go to that area. ;)

Is it ? I did not know that. Then Food For Tots could go there to try, no need to come to Relau then.
Yes, agree with you, I used to go here too last time. The zhu char also reasonably priced. The most impressive is the bak kut teh, RM10already got, enough for 2 persons.

Oh, I did not know that the bak kut teh is so cheap there. Is it nice?
