Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Cafe @ Niu Ze Xiu, Ara Damansara
Upon seeing a great review of this restaurant on a magazine, I had chosen this wonderful and sweet concept restaurant as the venue for our gathering in KL.
I am a totally concept-restaurant-addict. I have no idea when did I start to be crazy about concept restaurant.
Using the concept of 'HOME SWEET HOME', just like the Dream Family Cafe in Taiwan梦飨家, and the idea as well as the name of a Korean drama, [Fullhouse浪漫满屋], Fullhouse was designed to make you feel right at home. Pleasing to the eyes, the senses and the palates Fullhouse is a truly novel experience.

experience the greatest difference~~~only at FULLHOUSE!

Aside from an array of mouth-watering fusion deligts listed down in a quirky, super cute menu, almost everything under the roof of Fullhouse is for sale, from clothes and fashion accessories to gifts and decorative items!

Lavender and Peppermint Tea 薰衣草+薄荷茶
A new combination which I had never tried! However, you can hardly smell the lavender as the smell of peppermint is stronger!

Aglio Olio Spaghetti橄榄油和干西红柿意粉
Sauté spaghetti with garlic, extra virgin olive oil and sun-dried tomato
Fish & Wedges
This dish is quite ordinary, nothing special to me, but it's sure a good choice to keep the kids busy eating instead of running around!
Wok-Sear Chicken Chop 招牌鸡排与黑椒葡萄干酱
Grilled chicken thigh served with mashed potato, daily vegetable and black pepper raisin juice.
One of their specialties, GOOD! Give it a try, highly recommended~~~
Oven Roasted Chicken Tenderloin 烤鸡里脊与番茄罗勒奶油
Roast corn fed chicken tenderloin with shitake mushroom and tomato basil cream

Smooties-Fruities Fish
Pan-fried butter fish infused with passion berries fruit reduction and sun-dried tomato. Erm....I am not into this dish...I think it is too sweet. Should try the Grilled Mix Seafood, I saw that on the menu, looks quite good to me, too bad, I didn't order it as I was too full!
Overall, the ambience of this restaurant is great, but most of the dishes are average only. As for the desserts, they are exquisite, but kinda expensive. Check them out~~

the food is so so....the desserts are nice, but RM2 for a tiny piece is not really worth!
you may try it out when you visit Niu Ze Xiu @ Ara Damansara. They have lots of cute little shops and stalls there, nice place for shopping.

The ambience is definitely good!
Agree, the deco looks much nicer than the food. :)
Been there. It's a lovely concept restaurant with average food.

ya ya...that's what everyone says!
[tching]
did you buy any cute souvenirs there? they have quite a large collections of them!
There are many special concept restaurants in Malaysia. Too bad I am not in KL now. Hehehe!
What an interesting and unique design for a restaurant! Cool concept!

[food for tots]
er...if you are not in KL then where are you enjoying your foodie life now?? mind to share with me?!
[5 star foodie]
yeah...i have to admit that the concept was quite good but the food there was at an average rate only
[thenomadGourmand]
personally, i think that the food there was a little expensive, especially their tiny cakes. the souvenirs that they are selling there are at quite high prices too!!
Since we moved to Singapore 2 years ago, we have more home-cooked food than before as it is very inconvenience to dine out with my son. A surprise to u? ;)
I've heard about this restaurant too but didn't manage to find time to visit it yet.
I also like concept-restaurants!!
[buzzingbee]
you should pay them a visit someday, but actually you will be paying much more for the deco than the food!
by the way, do you have any good suggestions on concept restaurants in Penang??
it's interesting to know of this restaurant. the deco looks so nice..like an english country home.

if you want to pay them a visit, make sure you get yourself prepared...you will be paying more for the deco than the food. =]
i had my birthday celebration over here too! haha.
love their Wok-Sear Chicken Chop. and heart the decoration in full house. sadly, too far for frequent visits
[ai wei]
woah...cool, you really have lots of b'day celebrations!
well, the food there is average only, but i truly love the deco there!

[join me]
oh my gosh! thank you...it really means a lot :D thanks a lot xx
[jasminwahaha]
to me, it's alright. but it's apparent that mostly we are paying for the environment, the decorations were AWESOME!
The serving from the FullHouse menu numbered 152 ( smooties fruities fish) is escolar or so called butter fish. I did not see properly the type of fish when ordered on 18 Dec 2011 (between 7-8pm). Upon consuming this fish , i have severe diarrhea and i check the menu again in the internet. This fish is is marketed as "butterfish" or "white tuna", a controversial practice due to potential health problems related with consumption of the fish.
Yes! mark my word ! health problem!!
Please check out the website below on the wikipedia.

please spread around to your friends to avoid ordering this menu. If you don;t trust me , check for yourself the menu and at wiki, or at least feel the side effects.
