Taiwan Croissants 台湾正宗牛角面包
As far as I know, speaking of croissants, people will certainly think of France. But do you know that there are famous yet delicious croissants in Taiwan too?!
My friends just came back to Penang after spending a month's holiday in Taiwan. They brought me a huge box of Taiwan original croissants.

Above are the logos of the original Taiwan homemade croissants. I couldn't believe that the heavy box that I was holding actually originated from Taiwan. Even though the box was sealed, I could still smell the aroma of those fresh croissants.
All of the croissants were homemade. They have different flavours and generous selections of Taiwan croissants.

I was shocked when I saw the red croissant. Actually it was made up of red dates, that's why its colour is so unique.

Another weird-coloured croissant. Nothing special about this one. I just found the colour strange. That's all!

Wow! Such an interesting post! The Croissants looks a bit strange though.
atr creative invention, or not. hehe..take somethin w dough (buns, donuts, cream puffs) and make it in many flavours and slather different toppings on 'em and voila! Somehtin new to tantalize customers! ;p
Those are very cool looking croissants! I would love to try these flavors!

thanks! erm...do you mean strange if compare with the French croissants or they look strange by themselves?!

indeed something new, but i would prefer those without so much toppings on them!

ya, they were good, but i guess i had to much for that.
p/s: the garlic one was Good~~~
oh lucky you to get such delicacy! Can't help but felt that the shape looked like a seahorse and crab (last pic) Haha!

is that true?! never notice that, but i did have a feeling that it looks strange....maybe it looks more than a crab than a seahorse..haha
Indeed they look different :-) since Taiwanese love dates, taro, red bean...it is only natural that crossants will be "crossed" with it :-)
Wow, interesting croissants! Enjoyed this blog post.
