@ The Sun is a newly opened restaurant located at the ground floor of the historical Sun Yat-Sen Centre at Macalister Road, Penang.

I've never been to this restaurant before, was recommended by my cousin sister. So, I decided to give it a try together with my Taiwanese friend when she came to Penang.
Although the restaurant is located by the busy main road, it is really quite and the dim light ambience makes it really relaxing and comfortable. It's certainly a tranquil haven in the bustling heart of Penang.
Nothing can exceed the glamour and elegance of a historic restaurant with perfectly decorated dining area.
The menu
@ The Sun consists of 3 parts of dining area. Entering the entrance is the Spring Chamber Restaurant. Next to it is the Summer Court Outdoor Cafe, an open-air cafe and an Autumn Lounge for elegant hi-tea.
While waiting for your dishes to be served, you may walk around the historical building. Don't forget to take a small peep at their gift boutique. Surprises lay ahead, you may find lots of fine cute handicrafts there.
Carbonara Seafood
Feast yourself with this plate of spaghetti with a lot of seafood. The chef was kinda generous. I got a large piece of grilled fish and lots of scallops. This was quite a large one, I could hardly finish it.
Baby Lobster
I don't have much compliment about this dish. First, the lobster was really "BABY", it had little meat (maybe only 30% can be eaten only), not much to eat. Yet, this dish was a bit expensive for me since it was just a bunch of hard crab shell.
Chicken Drumstick
I like this dish if compare with the other two. The chicken was well-grilled with yummy sauce. The wedges made a perfect couple with the chicken. Worth trying~~~

the place was far away from the road yet not noticeable. Hope they can last long.
