Penang Guan Yin Temple槟城观音亭 Loh Mee卤面 & Pasembur
Since it was my mother's lunar birthday last week, I brought her to the Guan Yin Temple at Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling to pray for good luck and prosperity.

Guan Yin Temple (Goddess of Mercy Temple)
A famous ancient temple in Penang which is more than 200 years old located at Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling.

Peanut Brittles
Inside the temple, there is an old man selling peanut brittles. His peanut brittles are totally awesome. They seduce my taste buds every time I approach the stall. Cheap yet mouth-watering, high-recommended, thumbs-up!

After visiting the temple, we decided to have our lunch at a nearby coffeeshop. Before my first visit to this place, I had heard lots of great compliments about the Loh Mee here. People always say that this is the best Loh Mee in town. Therefore, I thought that it was a must for me to try out!

Guan Yin Temple Loh Mee
Ok....I am not trying to be offensive here. To me, I certainly will not pay them a 2nd visit again. I waited for a long time for the Loh Mee to be served and I had to pay a high price (higher than the market price) for that. Frankly, although people say that this Loh Mee is the best in town, I think that it is just a bowl of ordinary Loh Mee which is expensive and surely not worth it.
Any comments about this Loh Mee? Is it really that yummy? Or were those rumours? Or was that my unlucky day that I had to take expensive normal-taste Loh Mee?
