Do you believe that "Heaven is a place on Earth"? Embark on a culinary adventure in the world famous Hard Rock Cafe which is infused with elements of music and entertainment. I certainly did not let go this chance to have something tempting upon my visit to the Hard Rock Hotel.


My friend was back from KL and she gave me a treat at Hard Rock Cafe. HURRAY!!! Well, it had been quite a long time since the both of us went out for lunch together. Instead of being an ordinary cafe for only dining purpose, the cafe transforms itself into a "rocking studio" every night after 10.30pm. They offer live bands nightly! Unfortunately, for those under 21, you are not allow to join the rocking fun :(


The interior of the cafe is very special. Feels like you are really standing in a rocking studio, waiting for the band to rock the stage.


Same as the its hotel, the cafe also has a huge collection of celebrities stuffs like electric guitars, shoes, hats and etc. Want to have a closer peek? Well, I hope you enjoy my slideshow~~

There's even a little bar in the cafe, which is beautifully designed. Don't forget to sip a glass of cocktail!! Well,I bet the bar will be having extremely good business at the rock-n-roll time.

We were really hungry after wandering the hotel lobby and staring at those wonderful exhibits.....Thank god the service of the cafe was great. We were quickly served and the waitress even went through the menu with us, recommending the dishes and the beverages.
Ah~~there's one thing that I don't want to miss out. Personally, I think that the beverages at the cafe are expensive(sorry, I am not trying to be offensive). For instance, RM45 for a glass of smoothie is something I won't order, if you wish to bring back the glass of your smoothie, and the price will be RM100 for that.....So in the end, we ordered plain water :P

Jumbo Combo-RM48
A delectable array of Hard Rock Cafe's most popular starters that's big enough to share. Even though we were hungry, this dish was enough to share among the 3 of us. Includes Santa Fe Spring Rolls, Hickory-Smoked Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Potato Skins and Tupelo Chicken Tenders. Served with 4 different sauces for mixing and matching.

Hickory-Smoked Chicken Wings
This is my favourite in that combination. The taste of the chicken wings is really special, has a bit of spicy taste in it, but the size of the wings are a little smaller than usual chicken wings.

Potato Skins

After finishing our Jumbo Combo, I remember eating in the Chillies. Their dishes belong to the same family but I prefer Hard Rock Cafe. I don't know why, I am not interested in Chillies.


Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae-RM26
Vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on a fresh brownie, topped with chopped walnuts, chocolate sprinkles, fresh whipped cream and a cherry.

If you are not a fan of Hard Rock Cafe or American cuisine, you can head to the Starz Dinner in Hard Rock Hotel for Asian and international cuisines. But I guess nothing can exceed the glamour of the world famous Hard Rock Cafe!!!

Hard Rock Hotel @ Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Finally, I visited the newly established Hard Rock Hotel in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. I was complaining about my disappointing trip to Batu Ferringhi in my previous post as Hard Rock Cafe was fully booked. I had learnt my lesson~I made a booking on my way up to Batu Ferringhi.

So........dear readers, are you ready to ROCK Penang?!


There's only 3 Hard Rock Hotel in Asia. As a Penangite, I am very proud to announce that Penang is one of them. The other 2 are in Bali and Pattaya. This luxurious hotel is situated along the famous beaches of Batu Ferringhi, hailed as the Pearl Of Orient.


When my daughter first heard that I was going to Hard Rock Hotel with my friends, she demanded that she wanted to follow us. Upon reaching Hard Rock Hotel, we couldn't find any parking space and we ended up having the car parked in front of a Malay restaurant.

My girl was and still is a die-hard fan of The King Of Pop-Michael Jackson and she was hoping that she could find some MJ stuffs there. As we stepped into the compound of Hard Rock Hotel, she started screaming and shouting. We thought that she was excited to see the Hard Rock Hotel's signature guitar sign. Instead she was pointing a white statue which is situated in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. That was a MJ statue!!! Oh my gosh, I really couldn't believe my eyes, Penang actually had a statue of The King Of Pop!

After shooting a lot of photos with MJ, we went into the hotel. Hard Rock Hotel is absolutely a perfect hotel in a perfect setting.



Take a step into this hip and trendy Hard Rock Hotel. The statues of the Beatles welcome you under the eye-catching light of the Hard Rock Hotel. Be it for an event or just entertainment, the impression the hotel makes will be long remembered~

The lobby of the hotel itself is stunning enough to catch everyone's attention. Unlike other hotels' lobby having crystal lights and fully air-conditioned, the lobby of Hard Rock Hotel has a large collection of the clothes or guitars that had been wore by some super stars. Personally, there's also a small art gallery where they display the paintings and sketches of the celebs. Take a quick glance at the slideshow below that I created, ENJOY!!!

Having an extraordinary hotel lobby, Hard Rock Hotel also owns the largest free-form pool in Penang with a kids' water playground which is fully equipped with water guns and slides. Want a pool party? Just arrange a booking with the hotel and they will roll out the sound system for your rocking fun!!!


If you are searching for pool-splashing-fun, it is advisable to get the ground floor room. Just open up the glass door and you can jump into the cool and refreshing pool. And don't forget to get a sip of a cool tropical cocktail or some snacks at the Shack Bar which is half-submerged in the pool.


Feeling bored?! Why not take a walk along the white sandy beach, enjoy the cold sea breeze or maybe you can get a chance to have a ride on the banana-boat or a parachute!

Don't miss out the chance shopping at the Rock Shop. There's a few Rock Shop at Hard Rock Hotel. Badges, keychains, t-shirts, caps.....can be found in the Rock Shop. Collectors shouldn't miss this part out. However, in my opinion, I found that the things there are quite expensive. RM45 for a badge?! NO WAY!!!
