Charlie Brown Cafe 查里布朗咖啡馆 @ Straits Quay, Penang

Ever since I spotted this cafe's review on the newspaper, I had been dying to go there.....It's so super duper CUTE!!! KAWAII~

I am a HUGE fan of Straits Quay, it really rocks! The best architecture mall/plaza/shopping complex (whatever you call it...) in the entire Malaysia. Yeah, I ain't using hyperbola effects....It's my personal opinion though.

Back to the topic....Everybody knows SNOOPY, right?!?! The white coloured dog for crying out loud. Internationally famous American cartoon which first appeared in comic strips, named PEANUTS written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz, ran from 2nd Oct 1950-13 Feb 2000 and is arguably the longest story ever told by one human being.

CHARLIE BROWN CAFE is named after the protagonist, Charlie in the Peanuts's comic strips who is Snoopy's master. (=Snoopy is Charlie's pet XD). At the moment, this cafe has skyrocketed to fame in town, especially among teenagers. When I first mentioned to my friends about this cafe, right away, they were like "OMG! You've been there? I heard many people saying it's real cute! I wanna go!" Located at Straits Quay which is a hot hangout place in town definitely brings lots of benefits to the cafe. This outlet is the very first Charlie Brown Cafe in Malaysia.


If you guys know me, I am also a crazy fan of concept restaurants (see my previous posts of some unique ones). One of the best things I fancy about concept restaurants is because they have extraordinary interior and exterior designs which totally lure customers into them :D I just can't resist......


And certainly there's a massive collection of the Peanuts's merchandises. Honestly, I really did feel like bringing back the whole shop.


By the way, they also have a small souvenir shop there for the Peanuts's Fans to purchase the exquisite merchandises. YAY!

SERIOUSLY.....THESE 2 SETS ARE THE COOLEST STUFFS IN TOWN!!!!

I just had a "boring" lunch before we headed for the cafe. So, I actually aimed for a LITTLE desserts.....2 pieces of cakes to share among 3. But, in the end, I was the one who gobbled 70% of them up as my mom and my friend said I am young enough to eat more and not have sugar rush :/

I simply adore the desserts. The cakes are all SO tempting....I swear, next time I WON'T eat before I go there, then I will get to taste many of their main dishes and desserts.

ps: do try out their coffees! I am not a coffee lover (well, I can't stand the smell much) but their coffees are definitely worth a try. How I wish my idol Orianthi can come and try them out someday...hahahaha #randommuch :p I bet she'll fall in love with them in no time.
